Deloitte
Deloitte came forward with the need to promote their recruitment opportunities to young people in a short space of time. The plan? A live broadcast all about Deloitte’s recruitment opportunities... but with the aim of it not looking like ‘just’ a livestream.
Digital Broadcast
The event was designed to be as short as possible, with only 3 main sessions at 30 minutes each. The challenge was that one session required a mobile call-in, in a rented studio that was not capable of this. Myself and the rest of the tech team retro-fitted the technology based on our experience of OB’s (Outside Broadcasts) to meet the needs of the client. It was my responsibility to oversee the creative direction of each session, and the ideation of the set style.

The Evergreen Approach
The other requirement from the client was to produce a broadcast that could be re-used later down the line. As such, I pitched the idea of the livestream being presented as a ‘live recorded podcast’, and put forward that the set should be void of any notable dates or trends to not date the product.
This allowed the client to re-purpose the entire livestream as a 3-part podcast series at a later date, to tie in with their ongoing internal podcast series. The live broadcast attracted just over 7,000 viewers live, but has since gone on to be re-used as part of their internal branded content.
